Tit for tat for the first few levels, until Cally gets locked up with a K Q against my A Q. No regal gents appear to bail him out and severe loss of clay assets is experienced. His few remaining chips get pushed to the centre on the next hand, and it’s Swiller who makes up the deficit and takes a shot – Extremely bad timing as this hand the poker Gods are re-incarnated as Cally – he flips over pocket Jacks, with the flop bringing a set, turn bringing a house and if that wasn’t enough the river brought Quads – The gift that keeps giving………..

This was a bitter blow to Swiller, and couldn’t quite recover as he boarded the bus to dwindleville, last stop – spoon central……

Cally’s comeback was valiant but shortlived, and he was next to hit the canvas, a canvas adorned by oil paints and titled ‘Bubbles’ a painting by Sir John Everett Millais…….

Myself and the Prof are heads up, with the Professor low on clays, a quick experiment with a pair of 3’s as he tries multiply his chip count, but the test tube explodes as an Ace burns out on the flop, resulting conclusively in 3 points and beer tokens for myself…..
